WHO ARE WE?

We are a team of students in the Integrated Product Design program at the University of Pennsylvania who are partnering with VietnameseBoatPeople.org. Together, we are exploring ways to help our communities collect and preserve our family diaspora stories.

An artifact can be anything that connects us to our past, it might be a photograph, a recipe, a drawing or story. It doesn’t have to be physical or of  value - simply a representation of your experience. The images and stories presented here are a small sample of our proposed artifact collection. Our hope is that you may find them helpful in sharing your own stories. If you would like to share an artifact or story of your own and contribute to a larger community of Vietnamese Boat People working to preserve their stories for future generations, please contact us using the submission form linked below.
